    Just Write

Poetry Wednesdays

For the poetry writers. Your topic is: a woman with brown hair

Your form is: Skeltonic Verse (each line has three to six words and the last word rhymes with the last word of the line prior. Go with the flow with the rhyming switching off when it feels right to you).

Excerpt example from “Jumping the Gun on the Sun

…Make your love
on earth above,
home of the brave,
Save yr grave
for future days
Present here,
nothing to fear
No need to sigh
no need to die
before your time
mentally whine
stupidly dine
on your own meat
That’s what’s neat
Mortally great
Immortally sweet
Incredibly deep
makes you weep
Just this once
Don’t be a dunce…
