Everyone loves a good conspiracy story. Often times they are based on real stories and some times real life stories spur on new ideas. Watch this three minute clip about death row inmate Marco Chapman, then spend some time writing a passage from a book by a death row inmate (either this one or one of your own making).

Have you tried the Artist's Way?

One of the most popular plots is rags to riches. Watch this clip from Annie, one of my favorite rags to riches stories. After watching spend twenty minutes writing your own version of a rag to riches story. It doesn’t necessarily have to include a cute short redhead with dimples!

Watch this video documentary from 1995 on reincarnation. This clip is 9 minutes long and if you get into it there is also a part two and three which I’ve linked below but I think there is enough here to get your ideas forming into a story, article, or journal:

Some ideas to get you started: write about a woman who believes she was murdered in a previous life; write about a man who’s job it is to debunk reincarnation claims; write about two people who have been reincarnated as lovers for over 400 years; write about a seven year old girl who has memories her current family knows she couldn’t have experienced in this life; write a non-fiction piece on your own experiences with reincarnation or your views on it.

Watch the following video on how to respond to children (that are not your own) behaving badly:

Write a non-fiction piece with your own tips or a fiction piece on a bad child or a babysitter dealing with a bad child.

Here’s a preview to the next installment of one of my favorite Zombie series, Resident Evil: Afterlife. After watching it write your own version of a Zombie guide for staying alive.

FYI: Resident Evil: Afterlife will premiere September 10th. Mark your calendar!
